Resistive exercise IS an effective treatment to improve bone density!
Should I be weight training with osteoperosis? Will that put me at risk for a fracture?
It most certainly can put you at risk for a fracture, if not done correctly. On the flipside the only non-pharmalogically way to increase bone density and build muscle is by overloading. Bone and muscle build with overload. This class will provide critical oversight for form and proper training to allow for safe bone building. WARNING: Side effects include increased balance, increased stretngh, increased bone density, increased confidence to help you live stronger and safer.

How does it work?
You sign up for 2 classes per week for 8 weeks at a time. Classes are 45 minutes in length with gradual increase in intensity and overload. The class size is limited to 8 individuals to allow for proper oversight. These are heavily researched exercises that are specific for bone density build up. Progressions and regressions will be made based on each individual. This can be combined with medications you may be taking to help combat osteoperosis
